President Donald Trump has named Steve Bannon to lead the White House, according to a report by Politico.

The appointment is a significant shift from his first two months in office, when Bannon was seen as an outsider who had little or no experience in Washington.

He also had no political experience, and his political stances were far more extreme than those of other top advisers.

Bannon’s political career had been dogged by controversy and controversy after he was caught on video threatening to “blow the lid off” the sexual harassment allegations against Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein, who was a top Trump supporter during the 2016 election.

Bannon has been described by people close to him as a loyalist and loyalist who has never wavered in his belief in Trump.

Bannon is the first chief strategist to be confirmed by the Senate and the first since Trump appointed Kellyanne Conway to be the White, State and Labor departments secretary in February.

The nomination comes after Trump was criticized by the left over his refusal to denounce the KKK and white supremacists.

But Bannon is seen as someone who has a firm grasp on the details of Trump’s agenda, a fact that may not surprise some observers.

“I think there is a certain degree of respect for his background, and that may be a reason he gets some of the benefits of his appointment,” said former Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., a member of Trump ‘s Cabinet.

“But there is also the fear of having Bannon in charge, having Bannon at the helm, with the president saying, ‘I will not allow the president of the United States to continue to be this divisive and unqualified leader who doesn’t understand what the problems are.'”

But there are some familiar faces among the new administration, including former Republican National Committee chairman Reince Priebus, who has been promoted to chief of staff.

Priebus, Trump ‘ s chief strategist, is the son of former House Speaker Newt Gingrich.

He has been credited with turning the party around, especially among conservatives, and has also built relationships with Trump and other Republicans in Congress.

He is considered to be a moderate in the White Houses views on immigration, women’s rights and gay rights.

“The most important thing that we are trying to do is make sure that we keep our country safe, secure, prosperous and free,” Priebus said during a press conference Thursday.

“And I think that that’s what the American people want us to do.”

Bannon has also been seen as a key adviser to Trump , working on issues like health care and taxes, and is expected to work closely with Trump on the budget and other priorities.

He will join the White house in the new year, according the Politico report, which did not provide details about what those issues are.

Bannon was a vocal critic of Trump during the presidential campaign, telling the New York Times that he was “the greatest moral person I have ever met.”

The appointment comes after the president said he would not be calling for Bannon to step down.

“He’s my chief of all of us,” Trump said in February during an interview with CBS News’ Face the Nation.

“You know, Steve is a guy who has built a lot of bridges, a lot more than I have, and he has been a friend of mine for a long time.

But, you know, it’s something that we’ll be talking about very soon.” “

There’s a lot going on with respect to my administration, so I’ll let the people make that decision.

But, you know, it’s something that we’ll be talking about very soon.”

Priebus was appointed to his position as chief of the RNC in May after the Trump administration ousted Priebus from his position overseeing the Republican National Convention.

Priebus will continue to serve as a deputy chief of Staff for the RNC until the inauguration, according Politico.
